We have strict measures in place to help ensure your customers private information is protected at all times when using Adelaide Bank DocSend. We also aim to protect you against the threats associated with Internet fraud, however it is very important that you take care to guard your own information.
What we do to keep your information secure
We are continually monitoring and assessing our technology in order to keep your information secure. Here are some of the ways we safeguard our systems:
User Management
The access granted to partner organisations is administered through user management software and each partner organisation will be delegated a logon and password that does not expire. All individuals uploading files from a particular Partner will share DocSend access credentials.
Each broker will be delegated a logon and password that does expire. Each individual uploading files will have unique and confidential DocSend access credentials.
Authentication, Authorisation and User Group Configuration
Incoming users will authenticate against the Bank's User Access Management repository. Successful user authentication is a pre-requisite for both manually uploading and automatically posting to the document groups. Following authentication, the user must have authorisation to upload to a particular Document Group by being a member of the appropriate user group.
Virus Scanning
All received files are message scanned. If a file can be repaired, it will progress through the system. DocSend uses an anti-virus scanning service and if a message fails virus scanning it will be quarantined and deleted.
Automatic time-out
Although we recommend you don't leave DocSend unattended while uploading applications, to help safeguard your security we will automatically log you out if your DocSend activity remains inactive for a period of time.
Lockout
If your Username and Password are entered incorrectly too many times DocSend will assume an unauthorised person is trying to access DocSend and will block your logon until you notify us and confirm your correct details.
